Paranormal Activity Set for Broadway Debut This Summer

Paranormal Activity will soon bring its signature scares to New York theatergoers with a Broadway premiere this summer.

The production, titled Paranormal Activity: A New Story Live on Broadway, begins previews on August 14, 2026, at the August Wilson Theatre. It is set for a strictly limited 20-week engagement.

Official opening night is set for September 15, 2026. The show will first have a pre-Broadway run in Boston at the Emerson Colonial Theatre from July 11 to July 30, 2026.

Playwright Levi Holloway and director Felix Barrett have created the stage adaptation inspired by the film franchise. The production transfers from sold-out runs in London, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and San Francisco.

Director Felix Barrett commented on the Broadway transfer.

"New York is my home away from home. I fell in love with the city when making Sleep No More fifteen years ago, and always marveled at the way audiences engaged with the show. Having seen the incredible responses to Paranormal as it has toured the US, I’m beyond excited that it will be coming to Broadway and cannot wait to see how New Yorkers react.
