Broadway talent is uniting at one of New York City's premier theatres to advance support for individuals affected by autism.
Caroline Bowman, recognized for her work in SMASH and Wicked, has been added to the roster for the tenth annual Arts for Autism benefit concert. The event takes place on June 22, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
Adam Jacobs, star of Aladdin, serves as host. Additional performers include Charl Brown, a Tony nominee from Motown, Zachary Noah Piser from Maybe Happy Ending, and Kelvin Moon Loh.
Over the past decade, the concert series has raised more than $400,000. It has provided performance opportunities to 1,491 students alongside 262 Broadway artists and distributed 51 grants to organizations aiding those impacted by autism.
The New Amsterdam Theatre currently houses the long-running production of Aladdin. Student performers from across the nation will share the stage with the professional artists.
Kelvin Moon Loh, who has performed in The King and I and Spongebob Squarepants, shared his thoughts on the event's significance.
This event to me is special because it shows that there isn't one way to tell a story. The power of song. The power of dance. It has a farther reach than just entertainment. We can do something. We can do something really important.
The announcement of Bowman's participation came on May 31, 2026.
