Broadway Pridebills Redesigns Still Unannounced for 2026

No rainbow-themed playbill covers have been released yet this year as of late May, following 2025 editions for shows including Death Becomes Her and Oh, Mary!.

Broadway theatergoers are still waiting for any signs of this year's Pridebills redesigns.

The annual tradition involves Playbill producing special covers with rainbow accents for participating shows to mark Pride Month.

Last year the redesigned playbills appeared on May 27, 2025, and featured productions such as Death Becomes Her and Oh, Mary!.

Those editions kept each show's original artwork while adding festive borders and elements that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

As of May 25, 2026, neither Playbill nor any Broadway productions have announced comparable redesigns for the current season.

The pattern in prior years placed releases in late May to align with the start of June observances.

Theatre fans and collectors now look ahead for possible updates if the schedule repeats.

The redesigns usually preserve the main show imagery and apply subtle or bold rainbow details depending on the chosen approach.

This method keeps attention on the productions while allowing visible participation in Pride events.

Multiple shows, both new and established, have joined in past seasons across the Broadway roster.

Without fresh announcements it is not known which titles might participate if any redesigns appear.

Playbill maintains resources on its site covering pride initiatives and related theatre activities.

Any new playbill designs would most likely be shared there first.

Separately, Broadway Bares has scheduled its 2026 event for June 21 at Hammerstein Ballroom.

Two performances are set, one at 9:30 p.m. and the second at midnight.

Broadway News reported the dates and venue, confirming the fundraiser's place in Pride Week programming.

The event continues its established format of dance performances that support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
