UJA Honors Music Execs at 2026 Visionary Luncheon

Sony, Universal and Warner leaders recognized at Manhattan event supporting music education initiatives and community programs run by UJA-Federation of New York.

Three music industry leaders gathered in Manhattan for recognition at the annual UJA event. The 2026 Visionary of the Year Luncheon took place on Monday, June 8, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Julie Swidler of Sony Music Entertainment, Jeff Harleston of Universal Music Group and Paul Robinson of Warner Music Group received the honors. The luncheon supports music education initiatives and community programs run by UJA-Federation of New York.

Daniel Glass, founder and CEO of Glassnote Records, commented on the selections.

"We are thrilled to honor Julie, Jeff and Paul as our 2026 Music Visionaries of the Year."

The event brings together executives to celebrate achievements in the recording industry. It also raises funds for programs that introduce music to students and support local communities.

Representatives from the three major music groups attended the Manhattan venue. Their presence underscored the collaborative spirit within the business side of music creation and distribution.

UJA has hosted this luncheon for several years to link industry success with educational philanthropy. This year's honorees continue that tradition through their leadership positions.

Details of the gathering appeared in announcements from UJA and coverage in trade publications. The focus stayed on the benefits to music education rather than personal profiles.

Industry observers noted the consistent choice of top label executives for such awards. Sony, Universal and Warner maintain significant roles in artist development and market strategies.

Attendees discussed ways to expand music access in schools across New York. The proceeds from the luncheon directly fund these ongoing efforts.

The recognition highlights how music executives contribute beyond their corporate duties. Their involvement helps sustain vital community resources for future generations of musicians.

The luncheon serves as an important platform for networking among music professionals while advancing philanthropic goals. Participants expressed commitment to fostering new talent through these supported initiatives.
