Original members of The Book of Mormon Broadway cast return to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre for a week of special performances.
Magical Mormon Mystery Week runs from June 9 through June 14. The eight performances mark the musical's 15 years on Broadway.
Josh Gad as Elder Cunningham, Andrew Rannells as Elder Price, Nikki M. James as Nabulungi and Rory O'Malley as Elder McKinley appear in every show. They perform select scenes and songs that differ at each performance.
Creators Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez join the original ensembles at certain performances. Additional surprise guests from the extended cast family appear throughout the week.
The reunion follows the original cast's appearance at the 2026 Tony Awards. They performed the song Man Up on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall.
The current cast continues in the production. Kevin Clay plays Elder Price, Diego Enrico is Elder Cunningham and Sydney Quildon portrays Nabulungi. Charlie Franklin serves as Elder McKinley while Jacques C. Smith plays Mafala Hatimbi.
The Book of Mormon opened in 2011. It earned nine Tony Awards that year, including the award for Best Musical. The story centers on two Mormon missionaries dispatched to Uganda.
Performances during the week feature the original performers integrated with the regular company. Audiences can expect unique moments at each of the eight shows.
The event highlights the lasting impact of the musical since its premiere. Tickets for the special week went on sale following an announcement earlier this year.
